Based in Smithfield, Nebraska, professional painter Jeremy Hansen brings over 30 years of fine art experience and a deeply rooted Midwestern perspective to his canvas. With a BFA in Studio Fine Art from the University of Nebraska at Kearney, Jeremy blends minimal expressionism with a mastery of artistic fundamentals. His work transforms everyday agricultural surroundings and childhood memories into powerful, emotional visual narratives.
Throughout his distinguished career, Jeremy has sold over 3,000 paintings to notable corporate, public, and private collections across North America—including John Deere and various regional medical centers. His passion for the arts extends beyond his own studio; as a gallery owner, experienced art juror, and creator of large-scale public installations (such as his recent 40-foot mural for the Tassel Performing Arts Center), he is deeply connected to the Nebraska art community.
"I’m very lucky to get to wake up every day and do what I love." — Jeremy Hansen
Driven by the belief that art should serve as a profound emotional connection and a boundary-less form of expression, Jeremy continues to dedicate his life to capturing the beauty, simplicity, and spirit of rural community life.
