Floating deadline grant applications are now available for projects or events taking place between July 1, 2016, and June 30, 2017. While the majority of NAC grant funding is distributed semi-annually following our spring and fall grant deadlines, multiple, smaller programs are funded throughout the year with support of floating deadline grants. As the description points out, floating deadline grant applications can be submitted throughout the year, as long as the submission date is at least 4-6 weeks in advance of the project or event, depending on the program. These grants support small-scale community arts projects, teaching artists, touring artists, student field trips to arts events, and more.
Floating deadline grants include Mini-grants, sponsor grants for teaching or touring artists, and School Bus for the Arts grants, among others. These grants typically request $2,500 or less, depending on the program. More information.
All AiSC teaching artists have been approved following a selective application process that ensures their expertise as arts professionals and experience leading classes or workshops. Meet Our New Teaching Artists: Steven Tamayo, Bellevue Visual Arts
