ESU 10 Networkshop
ESU 10 experienced another great day of fellowship, art making and instruction, Tuesday April 12, in Kearney!  Twenty two participants attended!
Sue Hart, Nationally recognized Collage Artist, inspired us to observe, play and create!  New paper staining and collage techniques were explored, while role modeling how to share this experience with our students of all grade levels.
Lorinda Rice also inspired participants by making the standards user friendly and modeling how to apply our collage making activity in our lesson plans and curriculum.  Lorinda challenged us to seek out the right Power Standards and Essential Questions that guided our learning processes with purpose and further inspiration!
What a fun day!  Jan Jones ESU 10 Rep      See More Photos

Introducing Amanda Suhr, NATA Bookkeeper
PictureAmanda Suhr and her darling daughter.
We are very excited to hire an official bookkeeper. In an association of over 200 members, art teachers rarely step up to volunteer for accounting roles. Imagine that!
Fortunately there are talented people that like to do numbers for a living. Amanda comes to us highly recommended from two arts non-profit organizations in Lincoln. She has worked 9 years as bookkeeper for Lincoln Arts Council and 2 years for Lux Center for the Arts. We are very excited of the experience with arts non-profits she will bring to our association. You will not see Amanda's face around much but know that the NATA finances are being diligently watched over by our NATA Bookkeeper and Treasurer team.
