Eligibility: K-12 Grade, Each NATA member may display two student pieces of 2-dimensional art Limitations: No larger than 12X18 or matted 16X22 Deadline: November 11, 2015 Fall Conference Inspiration Taken Back to Students... NATA Member and Awards Co-Chair, Jeff Yoachim, went over installation art and the art work of Sandy Skoglund. The Art Club decided to create this temporary installation in the Glenwood, IA High School where Jeff teaches. It's 3-D and some of the birds are hanging away form the wall.

Do you know an individual, organization or business that has gone above and beyond in support of the arts? Nominate them for a Governor's Arts Award! The steps are easy: 1. Visit the GAA page on our website for details. 2. Click 2016 GAA Nomination Form. 3. Select an award category and enter contact information for the individual or organization you wish to nominate. 4. Attach your support materials via PDF. 5. Click Submit! Nominations must be completed by November 1 at 5:00 p.m. Award categories are as follows: Emerging Leader: An individual artist, arts administrator or patron who has made a significant impact on the arts in Nebraska in a short period of time. Excellence in Arts Education: An individual who, or organization that, has made a long-term outstanding contribution to arts education in Nebraska. Heritage Arts: An individual who, or organization that, exemplifies authenticity and excellence within a cultural tradition. Organizational Achievement: An arts organization that demonstrates achievements at a consistently high level of excellence in programming and outreach. Outstanding Artist: An individual artist practicing in any discipline whose work or career has made a significant contribution to their art form and to the state of Nebraska. Thomas C.
