AURORA ART WALK! September 27, 1-5PM In conjunction with the NATA Fall Conference, the artist community in Aurora is hosting an Art Walk, September 27th, 1-5PM throughout their downtown businesses. The Aurora community and NATA conference attendees will be invited. Join the community of Aurora and sell your handmade items. You may sign up to sell your items in downtown Aurora at a local business. The $25 NATA member fee allows you to bring in a table and cash box to a local business, assigned by the NATA event chair, You may set up and sell your wares anytime between 1-5PM on Sept 27th. This exhibition is open to all current and retired art educators who live or work in Nebraska. NATA encourages all art educators who teach or have taught at K-12 public, private and home schools, faculty from Colleges and Universities, and educators from museums. This exhibition will showcase artists living and working in our region today. Nebraska’s two largest cities are home to vibrant and expansive artistic communities, spurred forward by an engaged and enthusiastic audience. Artists will be selected by a jury led by Karin Campbell, Joslyn Art Museum’s Phil Willson Curator of Contemporary Art, and Bill Arning, Director of the Contemporary Arts Museum Houston. |
