2021 Youth Art Month Virtual Exhibit and Celebration
The 2021 NATA Youth Art Month Exhibit and Celebration video is here. Thank you to all Nebraska young artists and art educators for exhibiting. We also appreciate Senator Blood from Omaha and our 2020 NATA Art Educator of the Year, Jane Langenfeld
for sharing inspirational messages of advocacy with us. Congratulations to our YAM award winners; they are revealed at the end of the video!
A huge thank you to our 2021 YAM Chair, Liz Bloomfield, as well as our YAM judges for their work and dedication to the process!
Enjoy the exhibit and celebration!

The month of March is recognized nationally as Youth Art Month (YAM). To celebrate YAM at the state level, the Nebraska Art Teachers Association (NATA) hosts an annual art show at the Nebraska State Capitol building in Lincoln, Nebraska to recognize our talented young art students. The Youth Art Month (YAM) Show includes students' artwork who are in grades pre K-12 from art educators from across the State of Nebraska. Participating students will be recognized during a virtual reception and awards ceremony.
Each pre K-12 Nebraska art educator may submit photographs of two works of art from two different pre K-12 students. If you teach at multiple levels or in multiple buildings, you may submit two different works for each level or each building. Examples: You teach K-12; you may submit 6 works (2 at elementary, 2 at middle school, and 2 at high school). You teach at two elementary buildings; you may submit 4 works (2 from each building). Photos will need to be high quality images. 2D artwork should fill the entire frame. Please submit original work that does not violate a copyright.
