2012 Youth Art Month
The State Capitol Youth Art Month Celebration will be a K-8 exhibition however the Congressional Art Caucus Competition award winners from District 2 and 3 will be recognized during the reception and ceremony at the State Capitol on Saturday, March 24 at 2 P.M.
We will also have a virtual Youth Art Month gallery with Artsonia. Artsonia is a very secure site and your students will have the opportunity to use either their first name or an alias.
Each K-8 art educator may submit only two works of art from two different students. We have a limited display space this year so these limits will be strictly followed. Students, parents, family and friends will have the opportunity to view, leave messages or purchase items with the student’s artwork through Artsonia. All proceeds from sales on the NATA Artsonia Gallery will benefit the NATA YAM exhibits. We encourage you to have your own Artsonia gallery at www.artsonia.com/
*Artwork must be sent to Youth Art Month, Department of Education, 301 Centennial Mall South, PO Box 94987, Lincoln, NE 68509 by February 20 in a reusable container.
NATA Members may enter this show at no cost. Non-members must pay one $15.00 processing fee. Make checks payable to NATA.
